Artificial Intelligence

When I speak about artificial intelligence, I'm talking about generative AI and its ilk. Chatbots included.

I can't stand AI slop, the need to burn off thousands of gallons of water to create a drawing that a kindergartner could improve upon in seconds. It's the kind of thoughtless greed that consumes everything about modern media. What's worse is that it goes beyond media! You have people submitting "AI" generated reports to their bosses, who use "AI" to review it, and so no actual thinking is involved, it's just one computer to another, and with little to no oversight.

Idiocracy was set 500 years in the future, but with the power of human greed, we turned 50 years into 20 years. It's depressing as hell.
